Profile of 2×15MW Biomass Combined Thermal Power Generation Project of Shuita Group 

    To better utilization of the production waste (vinegar residue), Shuita Group determines implement the biomass energy combined thermal power generation project. With the resolution passed at the shareholders’ meeting of the Company, Taiyuan Shuita Green Energy Co., Ltd. was registered in August, 2012. The Company takes the production waste (vinegar residue) and crop stalk as the biomass fuels and realizes combined thermal power generation. 

    The project utilizes three 50t/h circulating fluidized beds biomass furnaces supported with 2x15MW air-cooled generating sets. The power plant covers a gross area of 200Mu and a building area of 33113m2. After the biomass combined thermal power generation project is put into operation, the annual output value will be RMB210 million, and the annual sales revenue will be RMB190 million, and the annual mean profit amount will be RMB75 million and the annual mean sales tax and surtax will be RMB32 million. 

    Main fuel of the project is vinegar residue, and auxiliary fuel is stalk. Comprehensive utilization of vinegar residue is reutilization of vinegar brewing waste, and this can reduce discharge of castoff and is significant for protecting the local environment. Implementation and construction of the project is greatly beneficial for promoting development of both national economy and regional economy. the project can resolve employment for 115 persons, and also is greatly significant for arranging employment of unemployed in society and promoting stability and solidarity, and it is a good project that can benefit both the nation and the people.
